The first from his Bell Glade, Fla., high school to graduate from an Ivy League college, he is an authority on public school finance who rose in ten years from an administrator in the Berne-Knox-Westerlo school district to superintendent of schools for Mohonasen Central, to superintendent of the Capital Region’s largest school district, Shenendehowa Central. He was named one of the region’s "Best and Brightest Under 40" by The Business Review.
