Public Engagement Council

The Public Engagement Council (PEC) advises UAlbany leadership and the Office for Public Engagement on matters related to the University’s engagement agenda.

The PEC reviews and provides input on processes, policies, projects, and initiatives intended to support and fulfill the University’s institutional commitment to carrying out impactful scholarship, teaching, and service as underscored in its strategic plan. The PEC membership is made up of faculty, staff, students, and leaders representing the University’s nine colleges and schools, and numerous multidisciplinary centers, divisions, departments, units, and associations.
