Multi-Center Trial of a Standardized Battery of Tests of Mouse Behavior

A project funded by the NIH Office of Behavioral and Social Science Research .

This page is, at present, offered for the use of the participants in the OBSSR multi-center trial studying mouse behavior in genetically defined mouse stocks.

Non-collaborators in the project should use the Main Page link.

Files to be shared among the participants are available.
A readme.1st file contains instructions. Each file can be saved to the participant's local pc. Notification on updates to the primary files will be made via email.

An example of the type of data being collected is found in a graph of basal locomotor activity in a 15 min test in Accuscan Digiscan computerized activity monitors. Eight mouse stocks were tested and the data depicted are mean values collapsed across sex and shipping status (half the mice were bred in house and half shipped in).

Final versions of experimental protocols are available in WordPerfect format (saved as version 5.1 .wp files).

New images/text on the ethanol drinking task and elevated plus maze are available.
