Graduate Studies in Psychology

Overview
The Department of Psychology at the University at Albany, State University of New York, offers the opportunity for exceptional students to pursue graduate study in one of the following five areas of specialization: biopsychology, clinical psychology, cognitive psychology, industrial/organizational psychology, and social-personality psychology. The Department of Psychology offers the Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Arts degrees. The Master of Arts degree is available only to students who have been admitted to the doctoral program and are working toward their Ph.D. degree.
