Research Areas of Interest
I primarily investigate creativity, particularly the situational factors (e.g.,
mood, task framing, contextual cues) and individual differences (e.g., motivational
orientation) that influence creative insight and the ability to generate innovative
alternatives. I am also currently exploring how rudimentary alcohol cues interact
with individual differences in alcohol outcome expectancies to influence social
behavior, problem solving, and alcoholic beverage consumption.
