Research Areas of Interest
I primarily investigate creativity, particularly the situational factors (e.g., mood, task framing, contextual cues) and individual differences (e.g., motivational orientation) that influence creative insight and the ability to generate innovative alternatives. I am also currently exploring how rudimentary alcohol cues interact with individual differences in alcohol outcome expectancies to influence social behavior, problem solving, and alcoholic beverage consumption. Specific areas of interest follow.

Creativity, Motivation, & Cognition
Alcohol Use
Non-Consumptive Behavior
