General Program -- Students in this program take 6 credits each semester with a team of ProjRen faculty. The program is interdisciplinary, with faculty from several academic disciplines (e.g., English, Political Science, and Sociology). This program is open to students interested in any major or who are undecided.

Tracks -- Students choosing a track take a "linked" course in an academic Department and a 3-credit ProjRen course complementary to the track (so that the two courses together offer an interdisciplinary experience similar to the General Program.) The linked course is usually a larger course that ProjRen students attend with other students. There are five tracks for students considering many different majors.

Please indicate your first three choices by clicking the appropriate buttons. We will attempt to honor your first choice, within the overall balance of filling the program, but it is important to give three choices, since some tracks fill more quickly than others, depending on student interest.

  • You will immediately receive an acknowledgment page, which shows the information you submitted. We encourage you to print it for your records.
  • If you discover errors later or want to change something, please send an email to projren@albany.edu; do not re-submit the form, which will delay processing of your registration.
