    Executive Search Firm Selected

    The University Council has selected Russell Reynolds Associates as the executive search firm for a new University president following a rigorous evaluation process. The firm will gather information from students, faculty and staff to assist the committee in shaping a position profile. The first campus visit will take place on Friday, February 24, 2017.

    Presidential Search Committee Update: December 7th Meeting

    On December 7th, the University at Albany Presidential Search Committee held its first meeting. At the meeting Chancellor Nancy Zimpher officially charged the committee. She said that UAlbany is “a university on the move” and that she has every confidence that we will draw exceptionally talented people in this search.

    The committee includes seven faculty representatives, as well as members drawn from the University Council, student body, academic deans, support/professional staff, the alumni association and the University at Albany Foundation. The committee also includes a SUNY president and a representative of the Chancellor’s Office.
