Marcia Brown’s Picture Books
on Display through December 30.
The M.E. Grenander Department of Special Collections and Archives, University
Libraries, is presenting “The Joy of Illustrations: Marcia Brown’s Picture
Books,” on display through December 30 in the new library. Brown, a 1940
UAlbany graduate, is a world-renowned illustrator and author of children’s
picture books. She has been awarded the American Library Association’s
Caldecott Medal, the highest honor for children’s picture book illustrations,
an unprecedented three times.
