Master of Fine Arts Thesis Exhibition
Opens December 4, 1999
The University Art Museum is pleased to announce its most recent exhibit
featuring the work of the University at Albany’s Spring 1999 Master of
Fine Arts candidates: Maria Heinrich, Michael J. Mello, Colleen Nudo,
and Sean Webster. The artists featured in this exhibition have just
completed the University at Albany Art Department’s three-year, 60 credit
hour program of intensive training and study in traditional and contemporary
fine art practices. The University Art Museum provides the artists with
the opportunity to exhibit their work and also offers area viewers the
unique opportunity to see emerging artists. This exhibition is an important
milestone for these artists, marking their debut into the larger art world.
The Master of Fine Arts Thesis Exhibit continues through Dec. 19.
Opening reception is Saturday, Dec. 11, from 5 to 8 p.m.
Also featured is work by Master of Arts candidates: Abraham Ferraro
and Kristen M. Larkin. The M.A. degree is a 30 credit-hour graduate
program in studio art.
