Annual Fund University at Albany's Fund For Excellence PRESIDENT'S
CLUB Annual gifts to the University at Albany are integral to the future of the University and its programs. The University no longer receives the majority of its funding from the state as the state now funds 26% of the University’s budget. The remaining funding must come from private support, tuition, and research grants. Gifts to the University at Albany Annual Fund allow the University to continue to provide an enriched collegiate experience for its students by supporting:
The ongoing development of a top public research university and services
to meet the needs of the students, faculty, staff and University community;
Career counseling to help students write resumes, develop interview
skills and plan their job searches;
Scholarships that heighten the University’s efforts to recruit highly
qualified undergraduates and increase the level of stipends for the
most competitive graduate students;
A wide variety of internships in business, technology, government, communications
and human services to provide students with valuable field experiences;
The enhancement of student life by supporting multi-cultural events,
personal safety awareness workshops and athletics; and Art exhibits and theatrical performances open to alumni, residents of the Capital District and the University community. It is through these programs, and many others, that the University is able to ensure the highest-quality teaching, research facilities and education for our students. By contributing to the Annual Fund, your spirit of philanthropy will help build a promising future for the University at Albany.
