alt
Michael R. Hattery

Michael R. Hattery has joined the Program on Local and Intergovernmental Studies Program (POLIS) of Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy, as associate director. Dr. Hattery comes to the program from Binghamton University, where he ran the Center for Local Government and taught in the MPA program.

Mike brings considerable skill in community based technical assistance to POLIS, and a strong record of applied research in local and intergovernmental issues.  He has developed programs educating state and local officials, and hopes to continue this work through the Local and Intergovernmental Studies program.  His appointment enhances activities in local and intermunicipal affairs in POLIS and creates new service learning opportunities for students.
