Master test November 1959 Emigrated to the USA Dec 9 1959 Landed in Pasadena California and went to work for Holzinger Organs in Los Angeles as voicer and chief voicer January 2, 1960 Started at Wicks as installer and finisher January 1961 and left Wicks October 1966. (Best Paying job in the world) October 1966 Started with Airlift International Airlines as pilot, flight engineer, Examiner, Instructor. , DC7, DC8, C46, L100, 727. During airline years worked as consultant installer trouble shooter for most organ companies in the USA. November 1969 Chief pilot and Director of operations for Airpacific Airlines in Seattle Washington. July 1970 Test Pilot Boeing Co 737 727 747 and military aircraft of all types. June 1972 Tour pilot Scenic airlines Las Vegas Nevada February 1973 Berkshire organ Company shop master Organbuilder October 1973 Started Visser Rowland Associates with Jan Rowland Have built almost 400 organs and restored or rebuilt almost 240 organs of all types. Have built 124 organs under the Visser Rowland and the Visser Associates name. Charter member and active participant in American Institute of Organbuilders (AIO) wrote the exams was chair of education and examinations for 8 years. Board member for 8 years. Member of Association of Pipe Organ Builders in America (APOBA) and president for two terms. Member of International Standards Organization (ISO) Board member and past Vice President.
