Here is where I have my primary access to computers -- Mac, DOS, Windows, NeXT, Unix -- all top of the line. We help to provide the University with access to electronic information -- internet, other on-line services, full-text databases, other data resources -- as well as provide equipment and expertise assisting faculty and students with multimedia development. We try to be a working example of what the library of tomorrow might be like. 3. Instructional Designer, Second Look Computing, University of Iowa. I help with developing multimedia applications in instruction -- I am particularly interested (both short-term and long-term) in multimedia applications and other instruction using technology for arts education, and specifically music education. I am currently working on a development tool for electronically analyzing and storing musical analysis. Musical Experience: My primary instrument is piano, although I have studied organ some and have played it for years. Musically, my experience is broadly in accompanying -- both on organ and piano -- and that is the bulk of my obligations as Society Organist for the Unitarian-Universalist Society of Iowa City. Computer Experience: Lots of development of interface tools, CAI (computer-assisted instruction) courseware, multimedia presentations, as well as assisting and teaching people to do this on their own.
