Sigvard Selinus --------------- Sigvard was born in 1952 on the island of Gotland in the middle of the Baltic sea. Both mother and grandfather were church musicians and teachers. During the years 1972-1980 educated at The Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm. Organ teachers have been Rune Engso, Gotthard Arner and Anders Bondeman. Organist degree 1977 and Concert diploma in organ playing 1980. 1978-1986 organist for in Vallentuna church north of Stockholm. Since 1986 full time organist in St. John's church in the city of Stockholm. Organ teacher at the church musician education at Ersta Skondal Hogskola in Stockholm. From time to time also teacher in music theory. Also engaged in the Swedish Guild of Organists, in Sweden named KMR. Great interest in much of the music from the turn of the century - 100 years ago. Composers like Charles Ives, C Tournemire, J N David, Franz Schmidt, Florent Schmitt, C-V Alkan, C Debussy, A Scriabin, I Stravinsky. Vast interest in the repertoire of organ music.
