Martin Hasch (martin@mathematik.uni-ulm.de) ------------ Personal: Born on the 4th of July, 1964. Living in Ulm, Germany, where the theatre is fourteen times older than the university, where the gothic cathedral seats 9000 brass players at their annual meeting (want an idea of that ancient Jericho event, anyone?), where an ingenious tailor invented and built the first airplane but took an involuntary bath in the Danube trying to demonstrate it, and where Albert Einstein's birth house was bombed to bits in WW II. Occupation: Mathematician by profession, part-time computer programmer by need to earn a living, musician by passion (composer, singer, percussionist, bad organist, worse violoncellist). Musical interests: Interested in most kinds of music save that boring noise supposed to be and selling as) popular. Current favorite (if any): O. Messiaen.
