Alison Baker ------------ I am a British concert organist, who studied with Peter Hurford. Naturally, I have a particular affinity with Bach and Buxtehude! However, I also enjoy playing 20th century music - especially the French repertoire. I have an unusual background, as I started my career as a concert pianist and then changed paths. I certainly have no regrets, and have had a wonderful time playing in glorious buildings, such as St Paul's, London (even though one can't hear a thing due to the echo!).
