Research Areas:
  • Laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) of atomic and molecular systems, ultrafast laser spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy and dosimetry for photodynamic therapy (PDT).
  • Hyperspectral imaging and terahertz spectroscopy for biological applications.
Current Research:
My current research is focused on developing laser-based systems combining spectroscopic and imaging capabilities, primarily for biological applications. The hyperspectral images obtained by this technique contain important chemical information about different areas of the sample, and thus offer insight into the structure and function of the system under study.
