A Message from the Parent Liaison

Welcome to the University at Albany's Parent Council website! The Parents Council is an organization open to all University parents. It was established to impart timely and pertinent information directly to you -- as well as to create a convenient venue for your involvement.

Parents are a vital part of our University at Albany community as we are all working toward a common goal: a happy and successful undergraduate experience for your son or daughter. Please consider joining the Parents Council today. Simply click on "Join Parents Council", fill out the pertinent information, and click on "submit."

The Parents Council provides the following list of services that we believe you will find very helpful:

• 24 hour access to on-line information via the Parents Council website.
• Parents' information line (518) 442-5875.
• Or you can contact me by email.
• Special events for Parents to attend such as Homecoming/Family Weekend and Big Purple Growl.

The University designed this web-site to be of assistance. However, as the University Parent Liaison, I am also a "link" to the University whenever you need it. Whether it be for a hotel recommendation, or for the name of someone you can talk to about your son or daughter's financial aid package, I'm just a phone call or email away.
