Two of the University’s large ensembles present a shared program. The Jazz Band performs an eclectic mix of America's original art form and beyond including works by Charles Mingus, Fela Kuti, Duke Ellington and Thad Jones while the Percussion Ensemble offers work by UAlbany alumnus Daniel Roberts, a theater piece by David Macbride and music from Guatemala.
