Reflections on Childhood

Featuring narration by Jeffrey Cumming and art by
Charles Martin, this program will include music by
Mozart, Brahms, Amy Beach and Erik Satie performed
by pianist Duncan Cumming, violinist Hilary Cumming
and mezzo-soprano Fran Wittmann.

Soprano Amanda Boyd and pianist Michael Clement present

A Musical Carousel: Three
Stories with Narration, Art and Music

A reading/performance of three children's books -
- a classic, The Country Bunny, and two original
works, From Bangkok to Bangor and From Haverhill
to the Highlands. The program features classical
music, Scottish music and a world premiere by David
Walther, Jr. along with projections of visual art.
French Music for Four Hands

Eighty musicians aged 5 to 75, including University
students, alums, faculty and area piano students and
teachers, converge for performances of works by Ravel,

Celebrating the 60th anniversary of his Carnegie Hall
debut, this Professor Emeritus of Piano at Eastman
School of Music plays works of Handel, Brahms, Schubert,

In their second year in residence at the University
at Albany, the Capital Trio will explore piano trio
repertoire from the classical period to honor the 200th
anniversary of the death of Franz Josef Haydn. The program
will feature trios by Haydn, his famous younger colleague
and friend Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and an early work
by Haydn's most famous student, Ludwig van Beethoven.
