Sonya is a recent graduate from the University at Albany and received a Master's in Economics with a concentration in Finance. This will be Sonya's 4th year working for Orientation. Besides work, Sonya has been involved with the Spirit Brigade as a Treasurer, Office of Student Activities for Event Staff, Residential Life as a Residential Assistant, housing manager on Empire Commons and a Step Captain for Angelic Voices of Praise. In addition, she is a member of National Society for Collegiate Scholars and Project Excel. In her spare time, Sonya loves to play handball, step, dance, read and crotchet. She also volunteers at the AME church, Habitat for Humanity, the New York State Museum and Ronald McDonald House.
