Paul Porter

High School:  Iroquois High School ('05)

Paul is from East Aurora, NY and is a Business Administration major with a dual concentration in Finance and Marketing, and a minor in Education. In fall 2006, he made the Dean's List and in spring 2007 he received a Student Recognition Award from the Disability Resource Center for his overall outstanding academic achievement. Paul is going into his second year as a Resident Assistant on State Quad and is the first wheelchair user to be a Resident Assistant at the University at Albany. He is very enthusiastic about being a founding member of the Disability Resource Center (DRC) Advisory Council and serving as the co-chair of the Access/Facilities Subcommittee. He is also a certified NCBI Trainer and certified peer educator. Paul enjoys meeting diverse people, learning new skills and developing existing skills.
