January Parent Orientation

Why Parent Orientation?
The University at Albany embraces parents as partners in support of our students’ successful journey through college. It is in this spirit and in recognition that families play an important role in new students’ transition to UAlbany that parents and guardians are invited to attend an optional Parent Orientation. Parent Orientation offers the opportunity to learn more about the University, its staff, facilities, services and resources available to incoming students. Topics include: discussions of the academic environment including academic advising and academic support services, residential life, financial, counseling and health services, and opportunities for leadership and social interaction.

Friday, January 13 or Tuesday, January 17
