Dr. Marie Raphaelle Jean is the Academic Counselor for the Collegiate Science & Technology Entry Program (CSTEP).  She graduated from UAlbany in 2003 with a B.S. in Biology and Minor in Chemistry.  She recently graduated from St. George’s University International School of Medicine and has currently returned to UAlbany to complete her Masters in Public Health.  As an undergraduate at the University, Dr. Jean was a member of many student groups and found a home with CSTEP.  CSTEP was and always has been dedicated to helping students from underrepresented groups and/or low-income families interested in all pre-licensed professions visualize and attain their goals.  She found comfort in an environment of other such scholars working towards their dreams, for this helped to motivate and keep her focused.  She is here to help preserve this standard and do the same for you.
