Friday, March 24, 2017

The political and regulatory climate are changing, and nonprofit leaders feel overwhelmed by the growing list of things to keep on their radar.  Which topics or changes should be at the top of that list?  We’ve invited a variety of experts from different parts of the sector to share their opinions.

Keynote: Allison Sesso, Human Services Council of New York
Nonprofit Leader Panel with experts from state government, advocacy groups, and local nonprofits.

Roundtable Discussions on each “top of the list” topic with presenters and UAlbany faculty.

Expert Panel:

  • Joe Burke, Director of Altamont Free Library

  • Dede Hill, Director of Policy at the Schuyler Cener for Analysis & Advocacy

  • Kelly Matthews, COO and Senior V.P. at NYCON

  • Ellen Sax, V.P. of Community Engagement at MVP Healthcare

This seminar will be held in Milne Hall, Room 200, at Rockefeller College, 135 Western Avenue in Albany.  There will be morning refreshments and opportunities for peer discussion and networking.  Please join us from 8:00 a.m. for a light breakfast and networking; the program will run from 8:30 through 12:30 p.m.  Parking instructions will be sent to all registrants.

The cost of each seminar is $25.00.  If more than one person from your organization registers for a seminar, each additional person will receive a 50% break on the registration fee.  In addition to refreshments, networking, and the presentations, the Roundtables are designed to provide each attendee with a number of practical “go to” resources.
