Video: One-on-One with Karl Rove

Karl Rove, former senior advisor to President George W. Bush, spoke with UAlbany Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy Dean Jeffrey Straussman about politics, civic engagement among students and other topics. Rove visited the UAlbany campus to debate former Vermont governor and presidential candidate Howard Dean as part of "The World Within Reach Speaker Series," spearheaded by the Student Association. Prior to the debate, Rove and Dean lectured students in UAlbany classrooms.
Students participate in more than 200 student clubs and honor societies, and enjoy a busy calendar of campus events.
