Video: School of Social Welfare Students Reach Out to Africa

University at Albany School of Social Welfare students travel to Africa annually to raise awareness about HIV, gender rights and other issues on the continent. Students learn what social service delivery looks like during a six-credit study tour of several countries, including Ethiopia and South Africa. The tour is an extraordinary opportunity for students to experience local culture and history while having a deeply meaningful time and fun.
Students participate in more than 200 student clubs and honor societies, and enjoy a busy calendar of campus events.
