University at Albany basketball fans pack the stands at the Big Purple Growl and Ferocious Feast. Proud students display their school colors, their pride in the University, and their loyalty to the men's and women's basketball teams. The Growl is one of the most exciting athletic events in the Capital Region, as the packed crowd attests.
Students participate in more than 200 student clubs and honor societies, and enjoy a busy calendar of campus events.
