The University at Albany's Emeritus Center, located in UAB 134, (1215 Western Ave.) will celebrate its third anniversary on November 7 at 4 p.m. in UAB 433. The Center is only the second emeritus center in the entire SUNY system, the first having been created at the University of Buffalo many years ago.

"The Emeritus Center is dedicated to the interests of the University at Albany's retired faculty and staff. It welcomes all of them, as well as the entire Capital District community, to its various exciting programs," said Emeritus Center President William Reese.

The center offers a full semester of activities to retired faculty and staff. Emeriti board meetings and "A Conversation with" events take place in Room 134. Most other events, including the film and opera series, take place in Room 433.
