            <title>Africa Study Trip Transformative Experience</title>

            <description><![CDATA[<p>On a trip to Ethiopia this summer, a group of UAlbany School of Social Welfare students stopped at the Church of St. Mary on Mount Entoto, known for its healing waters. It is here where thousands of people infected with HIV/AIDS go in hope of being cured by the holy water provided through the church on the mountain&rsquo;s summit.</p>

            <title>$1.1 Million Grant Focuses on Curbing Obesity</title>

            <title>McCarthy Elected to NASW Board</title>

            <description><![CDATA[<p>Social workers serve a key role in providing mental health services. When there has been a fatal accident, it is often the social worker who meets the family in the emergency room. Social workers serve on child abuse reporting teams for hospitals and with crisis units to evaluate the mental health status of people needing emergency care.</p>
