            <title>Novkov Examines Interracial Marriage in Alabama</title>

            <description><![CDATA[<p>Interracial marriage is common in the U.S. today, notes a 2007 Associated Press story. As President Barack Obama himself is the child of a white mother and black father, it is easy to forget that only 42 years ago, interracial marriage was still against the law. </p>

            <span style="font-size:x-small"><em>In 1967 the Supreme Court struck down the ban on interracial marriage in Virginia, after hearing the case of Loving vs. Virginia. Mildred and Richard Loving at a press conference announcing the decision. Richard Loving's lawyers on the eve of their oral argument before the Supreme Court, asked him if there was anything else he wanted them to add to their arguments. He replied, "Tell the Court I love my wife."</em><span></p>

            <title>Study: TV, Aggression Linked in Young Children?</title>

            <description><![CDATA[<p>Three-year-old children who are exposed to more TV appear to be at an increased risk for exhibiting aggressive behavior, according to a report by researchers at UAlbany and Tulane. The article, by <A href="http://www.albany.edu/sph/">School of Public Health</A> researcher Jennifer Manganello, was published in the November issue of <EM>Archives of Pediatrics &amp; Adolescent Medicine</EM>. </p>

            <title>CTG Study on Cross-Boundary Information Sharing</title>

            <description><![CDATA[<p>The University at Albany&rsquo;s Center for Technology in Government has released a <A href="http://www.ctg.albany.edu/publications/reports/factors_inf_gov_cbi">report</A> summarizing the results of a national survey of cross-boundary information (CBI) sharing in the public sector. The national survey and the findings presented in the report are the result of a National Science Foundation-funded project that began in 2002. </p>
