(June 29, 2011) -- A 3°C rise in air temperature and the warming of the tropical Pacific Ocean are mainly linked to tropical glacial melt during the past 10,000 years -- a process that has accelerated with the onset of industrialization -- according to UAlbany Assistant Prof. Mathias Vuille and a team of French researchers.
