Media Advisory & Photo Op: Campus Buzzes with Change… and Makes Way for New Signs

UAlbany President Kermit L. Hall will take a chainsaw to the old University at Albany sign on the Downtown Campus, clearing the way for the University's initiative to install new signage campus-wide.

Background:
The University at Albany has embarked on a $2.4 million project to replace exterior signs on its three campuses with signage that is accessible, easy to read for the campus community and visitors, and complementary to the University's architecture and sense of place and identity.
