University at Albany professors and authors Wendy S. Becker and W. Mark Dale sign their latest book The Crime Scene: How Forensic Science Works.

Who:
Wendy S. Becker is an industrial-organizational psychologist in the UAlbany School of Business. Her various publications include In the Crime Lab (2006), Motivation Theory Reconsidered (1987), and Managing Intellectual Capital (2005), which she also wrote with Dale.

W. Mark Dale is the director of the University at Albany's Northeast Regional Forensics Institute (NERFI), one of the premier forensics instruction programs in the nation. Before joining the University, Dale directed the New York State Police Laboratory System and the New York City Police Department Laboratory. He has served as president of the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors, chairman of the New York State Crime Laboratory Advisory Committee and on the New York State Commission on Forensic Science.
