| Biography: Starr A. Wood is an expert on traumatic stress, substance abuse, and delivery of care to people living with HIV/AIDS. She can talk about the vast need for social services and barriers to care for poor and undeserved groups. She spent time in Rwanda where she studied delivery of health and social services to HIV-positive victims of the Rwandan genocide. Wood received her doctorate from Smith College. |
