| Biography: David Griggs-Janower is artistic director of Albany Pro Musica and professor of music and director of choral activities at the University at Albany. He has served on the staff at the Aspen Music Festival and the Oregon Bach Festival. Among Griggs-Janower's awards: recipient of the Albany League of Arts award for outstanding contribution to the arts in the Capital Region; the UAlbany award for Excellence in Scholarship and Creative Activity; the SUNY-wide award for Excellence in Scholarship and Creative Activity; N.Y. Choral Directors Association Outstanding Conductor Award. |
