Biography:

An assistant professor of atmospheric sciences at the University at Albany, Justin Minder's research interests include mountain weather and climate, regional climate dynamics and hydrometeorology. He has studied the sensitivity of mountain snowpack accumulation to climate warming. He has conducted research on the mesoscale variations of the atmospheric snowline over the northern Sierra Nevada.

Minder received his Ph.D. in atmospheric sciences from the University of Washington in 2010.
