Michael Bloom as an assistant professor of environmental health sciences and epidemiology and biostatistics. Bloom holds affiliations with the Institute for Health and the Environmental and the Collaborative on Health and the Environment. Bloom conducts research on the effects of toxic environmental agents (toxic organics and elements) on human fecundity and fertility at the population level, including in vitro fertilization (IVF). He also examines the use of biomarkers of exposure and effect in environmental epidemiology. Bloom received his Ph.D. from the University at Buffalo.
