Biography:
Assistant Professor Kendra Smith-Howard's research explores how environmental history intersects with concerns about health. Smith-Howard's current project focuses on changes in milk and dairy farming in 20th century United States. She previously worked as a seasonal interpreter in Montana's Glacier National Park and taught in Salatiga, Central Java, Indonesia. She earned her doctorate in history at the University of Wisconsin-Madision in 2007.
