Biography:
Assistant Professor Jennifer Manganello conducts research to study the influence of mass media on the health of children and adolescents. She also studies health literacy. She teaches courses related to behavioral health and health communication. She has participated in research studies related to the prevention of violence against women and the improvement of health outcomes for children. Before coming to UAlbany, Manganello was a post-doctoral research fellow at the University of Pennsylvania, and earned her doctorate from the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
