Winter Commencement 2015: Celebrating a New Generation of UAlbany Graduates

ALBANY, N.Y. (December 7, 2015) -- With an estimated 900 students receiving degrees Sunday, the 2015 Winter Commencement ceremonies honored the latest generation of University at Albany Alumni. Among the honorees were a host of first-generation college graduates, 20 military veterans, and students ranging from as far as Bangladesh. Larry Gold, chairman/founder of Somalogic and a member of The RNA Institute’s Scientific Advisory Board, was presented with an honorary degree and gave the keynote address.
