School of Social Welfare Students Travel to New Orleans
During the 2014 winter break, School of Social Welfare students, Amanda Bane-Cortlynd, Hasanai Badar, Rosalie Calcagno, Michael Fiske, Ashley Huie, Christine Leavitt, Nicolas Mojica and Charles Orr traveled to New Orleans, Louisiana for a service learning trip. While in New Orleans they participated in a variety of activities and learning opportunities which included assisting with the rebuilding efforts. This is the ninth year that School of Social Welfare students have traveled there since Hurricane Katrina devastated the city of New Orleans in 2005.
