Biography:
Chair and Associate Professor Mary P. Gallant has a background in health behavior and health education. Her research interests focus on the influence of social support and social ties on chronic illness management, health promotion among older adults, healthy aging, and older adult falls prevention. She teaches courses on health promotion program planning, and public health and aging.
