Biography:
Robert Summers' primary area of research is the intersection of second language assessment, Vygotskian-inspired pedagogy and computer-assisted language learning (CALL). He has been a teacher of French as a foreign language since 1998 and a teacher of English as a second language since 2002. He has experience in the establishment and teaching of distance education and has more recently focused his research on the applications of telecollaborative technologies to foreign language pedagogy.
