Biography:
Associate Professor Andrew Haas's research interests include several branches of artificial intelligence, including syntax, semantics and parsing of natural language, knowledge representation (especially the representation of the notions of belief and knowledge), and planning. He received his bachelor's degree from Yale and doctorate from the University of Rochester. He joined the UAlbany faculty in 1989.
