Biography:
Political science emeritus professor Martin Edelman is an expert on Israeli politics and is available to address a variety of issues including Israeli security and domestic life and Orthodox Jews. He can help put in context the topical political and social issues in Israel, Palestine and neighboring countries. He is also an expert on American Constitutional Law. Edelman has held visiting professorships at Tel Aviv University, Peking University and Liverpool University and is the author of Democratic Theories and the Constitution (SUNY Press, 1984) and Courts, Politics, and Culture in Israel (University Press of Virginia, 1994), as well as numerous articles and columns. He earned his doctorate from the University of California, Berkeley.
