Alumni who remember the field next to the Biology Building and the Friday softball games contested there would be surprised to see it now. The Greenhouse is gone and construction is underway on a new Research Life Sciences Building that will extend over much of the field. Scheduled for completion in 2004, the 194,000 square-foot, $67 million structure will add significantly to research capabilities in the Life Sciences.
