The SPTC and NCSP will conduct a delivery of the EMS Multiple Casualty Incident (MCI) Management Course on July 10-11. This course is intended to provide EMS personnel the knowledge and skills needed to effectively respond to and manage an MCI. Students will learn principles and practices of triage, scene management, communications, and coordination.
During the two day high-end scenario-based course, students will be exposed to 10 jobs and over 150 patients. Students will apply the MCI management skills they have learned to engage in increasingly complex consequence-based activities that encourage effective response through establishing EMS command, collaborating with partners and other responders, conducting triage using lifesaving interventions, and using overall scene management principles.
Interested individuals should contact the SPTC at email@example.com or (315) 768-5689 for more information.
