NCSP Intern Mikayla Myers Awarded the 2015 Rockefeller College Outstanding Intern Award

Congratulations to Mikayla Myers for being awarded the 2015 Rockefeller College Outstanding Intern Award! She was nominated by her immediate supervisor, former Senior Project Coordinator Ben O'Shaughnessy, for her exceptional work ethic and dedication to the Emergency Vehicle Defensive Driving course.

Mikayla joined the NCSP in January 2015 and is a Training for Security and Terrorism Professionals (T-SteP) Fellow at the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy at the University at Albany. There, she completed her undergraduate studies with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and Public Policy in May 2014. She immediately continued into the Master of Public Administration (MPA) through the dual BA/MPA program.

Before joining the NCSP, Mikayla interned at Cornell University supporting their emergency management efforts and the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C. While interning at the NCSP, she has also concurrently supported research with the Big Allied and Dangerous Project at Rockefeller College.
