Sobia Sheikh, Policy Analyst

Sobia Sheikh is a Policy Analyst at the NCSP. Her core focus is to develop safety and security procedures for the State Training Preparedness Center (SPTC). She has worked with the NCSP since June 2012.

Sobia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with a concentration in Financial Analysis from North Carolina State University.

Prior to working at the NCSP, Sobia worked for the Albany Community Action Partnership, where she headed the Inventory and Risk Management Departments. She has experience conducting audits and preparing budgets, grants, and other requests for proposals. She is well-versed in strategic financial analysis, having prepared federal and consolidated financial reports and maintained all aspects of the accounting function. Sobia has also served as an accounting intern at a publishing company in North Carolina.
